Tobin LeBlanc Haley, Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of New Brunswick, interrogates the problem of housing unaffordability impacting growing numbers of households in Canada. Moving beyond the conceptualization of the current housing “crisis,” she traces the decades of policy decisions and logics that led us to this moment, offers a critical analysis of the current responses from decision-makers and suggests alternatives.
